Greetings! Festival of Sharing has an exciting lineup of Sharefests this fall. We hope you will join us in one of these opportunities for service, fellowship, and collecting packs and kits for our agency partners! Service opportunities vary from welcoming volunteers, unloading and sorting donations, packing rice, tying blankets, praying over donations, and more! Open to all ages.
Announcements
Volunteers: Interested in volunteering at a Sharefest? Please fill out our volunteer interest form ahead of time to help us know who is coming and to save time on Sharefest day! Form available here.
Quilts: Donations of quilted items are due by August 25 to Festival of Sharing, 3601 Amron Ct, Columbia, MO 65202. Quilts can be dropped off Monday-Thursday, 8 AM- 4:30 PM.
Local
Cooperative Response Grants
Festival of Sharing has funding available to partner with Missouri churches and organizations in their efforts to cooperatively respond to community needs around poverty. Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Grants will be awarded up to $1,000. Visit here for more info -->
Growing Access Grant Story
This spring Festival of Sharing was able to support several agencies beyond packs and kits with Growing Access Grants. Approved agencies were invited to apply for grants of up to $1,000 to tackle food insecurity and promote nutrition in Missouri. Applicants were encouraged to apply for funds that will help them expand, improve or initiate efforts aimed to impact hunger. 13 applications were awarded a total of $12,250, an increase from the 2022 grant cycle. What if I can't find the suggested size for a kit item? We recognize that product sizes can vary by location. We encourage you to get products as close to the listed size in the booklet as possible. If you need to, going up in size/weight is preferred. If you have questions about an item, please feel free to reach out.

New Church World Service Kits
New this year, Festival of Sharing will be collecting Welcome Backpacks and Period Packs for Church World Service. The Welcome Backpacks provide comfort and basic necessities for refugees and asylum seekers and the Period Packs offer access to feminine care items and promote dignity and help. Kit content lists can be found on our Kit and Pack Instructions page under the domestic/international section. Completed kits can be turned in at any Sharefest location.
2023 Online Quilt Auction
Save the date! Sunday November 5- Saturday, November 11.
Proceeds benefiting Church World Service Blankets Program.
Please check the auction page for more information. Quilt preview and bidder registration will open about one month prior to the auction.
